Backstory
Let me tell you a little gossip about a restaurant called Hard Knox Cafe. In 1999, Chef/owner Tony Hua had a burning desire to bring people together through the power of soul food. He believed that food not only satisfies hunger but also nourishes the soul. With this concept in mind, he opened the first Hard Knox Cafe in the Dog Patch district of San Francisco. After 9 successful years, Tony expanded his vision and opened a second location in the Richmond district.
Hard Knox Cafe is all about feeding appetites and souls. Tony’s passion for food and people is evident in every dish served at the restaurant. The goal is to create an atmosphere where guests can not only enjoy delicious food but also connect with each other.
