I recently purchased the Govee H6199 Envisual and I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed with this product. The 1080p resolution provides clear and vivid backlights, and the color recognition technology accurately displays the colors. The ability to control the LED lights with voice commands via Alexa or Google Assistant or through the Govee Home app is extremely convenient and adds to the overall experience.
The RGBIC technology is a game changer, allowing for customization of each strip light segment and the ability to display multiple colors at once. With 99+ scene modes and 2 video modes, the options for creating the perfect ambiance are endless. I was also impressed with the ability to save other people’s DIY styles from the Govee Light Studio.
Other Features
The built-in mic is a great feature as it allows for syncing the lights to music, adding an extra dimension to any event or gathering. I was blown away by the 4 different modes – Energic, Rhythm, Spectrum, and Rolling. Each mode offers a unique and exciting way to jazz up any holiday party with vibrant and dynamic color displays. The lights truly bring the room to life and are sure to impress any guests.
Installation
I installed the system by myself. Much easier if you have 2 people to hold up the lights and etc, but one person is doable. Very doable with one person if you lay the TV flat on the ground so you’re not fighting gravity.
The process is installed the lights behind the TV, attach the camera at the top or bottom. Download the Govee app available in iOS and Android. Attach the orange square to each corner of the TV and the app will show you how. Calibrate the camera via the app. Remove the orange squares and you’re pretty much good to go. Set and forget, easy peasy!
Can I leave the Govee System on the whole time?
Based on Amazon answers and my educated guess. I believe you can leave the system on 24/7. The lights don’t run very hot, just make sure it’s out of the spool. Govee suggests the LED lights have a lifespan of 20,000 hours. That’s a little more than 2 years if you keep on the whole time.
