Mr. Jimmy Giddens, a general contractor from Highland Home, AL, was contracted from January to July 2015 to perform repair and maintenance work on a fast food franchise’s 7 locations in Alabama. Unfortunately, the experience with Mr. Giddens was less than satisfactory.
In July of that year, the franchise owners began to notice serious issues with the repairs and maintenance work that Mr. Giddens had performed. These issues included faulty electrical wiring, plumbing leaks, and structural damage. The franchise owners were shocked and disappointed by the poor quality of work that had been done.
Attempts to contact Mr. Giddens to address the problems were met with frustration. He was unresponsive and did not take any responsibility for the subpar work that he had done. The franchise owners were left with no choice but to hire another contractor to fix the problems and undo the damage that had been done.
The franchise owners were not only left with the financial burden of paying for the repairs twice, but also the significant amount of time and resources that were wasted dealing with the aftermath of Mr. Giddens’ work. It was a highly frustrating and disappointing experience for all involved.
Based on this experience, the franchise owners cannot recommend Mr. Jimmy Giddens as a reliable or competent contractor. The poor quality of work, lack of responsiveness, and refusal to take responsibility for the problems that arose make him an unreliable choice for any future projects.
