About this Movie
“Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania,” Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne continue their superhero partnership as Ant-Man and The Wasp. The film follows the family’s adventures as they explore the Quantum Realm and encounter new creatures. Along with Hope’s parents, Janet van Dyne and Hank Pym, and Scott’s daughter, Cassie Lang, the group embarks on a journey that takes them beyond their limits. Along the way, they encounter new challenges and must work together to overcome them.
The Story
Like most MCU movies and most movies these days, it follows more or less the hero’s journey. This movie is fairly linear. If you’re expecting something that doesn’t require a lot of thinking and lots of explosion, CGI and sound effects. This movie is for you.
The Visual Effects
From what I understand, most of the visual effect budget went to Wakanda Forever, so not exactly top talent is working on this movie. Overall, I find the visual effect decent and entertaining.
Final Thought
I know many folks bash this movie for its story, visual effects, and etc. Overall, I went into this movie with no expectations and I found it to be an entertaining 2 hour of my time. I would recommend this movie if you’re looking for something that doesn’t require a lot of thinking, comedy relief, and linear storytelling.
